Delete Your Account & Data
You can request deletion of your BharatTalk account (package com.lcay.bharattalk) and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app
Open the BharatTalk app and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently removes your profile, your location history, and your organisation / channel membership, and signs you out.
Option 2 — Request deletion online
If you cannot access the app, submit the form below. We will verify the request against your account email and process it.
What is deleted
On a verified request, we delete your profile (name and sign-in identifiers such as email / phone), your location history, and your organisation and channel membership. Once deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in. Push-to-talk audio is never recorded or stored, so there is no voice data to delete.
What may be retained
Records that belong to an organisation (such as which channels existed and team configuration) may be retained by that organisation for its own operational and legal records; these are managed by the organisation’s administrator. We may also retain anonymised or aggregated data, and any information we are required to keep by law.
Processing time
Account deletions made within the app take effect immediately. Verified online requests are processed within 30 days, and we confirm by email once complete.
